Twelve-year-old Koko and his family move to a big city and Koko is up for a real adventure: with the help of his new friends and neighbours Koko will be investigating a mysterious case, the death of an old man who recently moved to the neighbourhood. Koko and the Ghosts is based on a popular Croatian children’s literary classic, the namesake novel by Ivan Kušan. Kušan’s novel serial on the adventures of the boy named Koko, brave enough to overcome his fears and wise enough to solve a great mystery, have been raising generations for decades now.

About the director Daniel Kušan
Daniel Kušan was born in 1975. He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts and began professionally working as a director in 1998. Two of his feature narratives – Koko and the Ghosts (2011) and Love or Death (2014.
