Panel discussion: The role of teachers in promoting film/audiovisual culture 

KinoKino in association with the Croatian Audiovisual Centre decided at its first edition to open up a platform for dialogue and collaboration between the educational and the audiovisual sectors with the aim of improving the position of cinematic art and culturally valuable audiovisual production in primary and secondary education system. The roundtable focuses on teachers and other educators, as they are the ones disseminating the knowledge to the children and young people directly. As such, they represent the key component in promoting film and media-related content in the educational process.

The discussion will include teachers and professors in primary and secondary schools, representatives of public authorities and institutions in charge of education, representatives of university courses educating teachers in the field of film and media, as well as representatives of the Croatian audiovisual community.
