Eight films will be arriving from all over the world, from the Netherlands and Estonia to South Korea and Australia, competing for three awards! A professional jury and a jury of children will be deciding on the awards, and during the Festival the audience will have a chance to vote for the favourite film of their choice and hence decide on the audience award. After the screenings, have a chat and share your impressions with our moderators Ana Đordić, Eva Kraljević, Sara Stanić, Iva Šulentić, Maja Kovač and Jura Troje.

Nine international short films present touching and funny stories about coming-of-age, family and friendship. They are scheduled in two slots, one related to the short film scene screenwriting workshop. A professional jury and a jury of children will have their say on the best films in the selection.

We all have our favourite childhood films. Three Croatian directors, Vinko Brešan, Antonio Nuić and Danilo Šerbedžija, will be showing the films that left a lasting impression on their childhood. After the screenings, have a chat with them and find out why they still remember these titles and share your favourite films with them.

The professional jury this year includes two directors – Miha Hočevar and Daniel Kušan. Apart from the common task of choosing the best children’s film at KinoKino Festival, Miha and Daniel have both already directed films for children and garnered impressive box office results. Meet our professional jury members and watch their films in the special screenings section.

Apart from films, KinoKino Festival will host workshops intended for children, mentored by experts in different cultural, artistic and social fields. The idea is to give children a chance to spend time at the cinema before and after the screenings and to fill this time with learning and fun.
