One of the greatest classics of Yugoslavian cinema, also one of our finest children’s films, is a story about an unusual friendship between a boy called Ranko and a wild dog roaming around the mountains in Lika. The film also features the debut appearance by Slavko Štimac, the biggest Yugoslavian child celebrity, who later made a name for himself with roles in Train in the Snow (1976) and Do You Remember Dolly Bell? (1981).
