One of the most popular and finest Croatian films of all times, which left a permanent mark on the Croatian cinema with an array of colourful characters, who became household names (Franjo, Mina, Mr Fulir and, naturally, little Perica), as well as some iconic quotes (Perica, people are pigs! or She’s not much of a housewife, but I won’t let you insult her!). The plot of this ‘love comedy with singing’ is set in Zagreb in the mid-1930s, and focuses on the daily life of an average urban family.
