We know that a picture is worth a thousand words, but what are two pictures worth? The answer is: a whole film! Really? Let’s capture our idea in just two pictures! Hand waving, flower blooming, tongue sticking, window opening, jumping into the water – all this could be said in two pictures only, and this workshop will show us how. All it takes is an idea and a pencil… We’ll bring the pencils.
With a small introduction in the inertia of the eye, at the workshop the little participants will master the basics of breathing life into static images by turning them into a film and learn how to make little stories with just two pictures.

Vedran Senjanović was born 1988 in Zagreb. He graduated in journalism from the Zagreb Faculty of Political Sciences. Currently active as a cinematographer and editor, he is also working on his debut film. With Anja he shares a love of dogs, Star Wars and talking ravens. As a kid he was a real expert with the remote, first of his TV and VCR, then of a DVD player, and today he has insulating tape in one pocket and a cable in the other. He will edit whatever you want and has a firm opinion of which films he likes and which he dislikes. He spends his free time living in a basement (but not for long!) and follows his roommate Mario in his body building competitions.
