Let’s draw an entire cinema: with a red carpet, flying seats, self-filling popcorn and, naturally, a film! By the by, let’s fill it with the characters from the films we will watch. Perhaps the Little Gangster could be selling tickets and Odball could drill holes in the stubs with his teeth? Maybe late-comers should wear the cloak of invisibility, not to bother other audience? Deal!
With a film trick or two, we can give our cinema the life it actually deserves. Let’s learn together how moving images are made, let’s find out how lazy our eyes actually are, let’s master stop-motion and see why imagination is the most important part of film magic.

Anja Pletikosa was born 1987 in Zagreb. She graduated in comparative literature and Croatian language and literature in Zagreb and performance arts (dramaturgy) in Frankfurt. She attended different school in different languages across Croatian, Austria, Germany. She takes children’s matters quite seriously, courtesy of all that Disney she saw as a little girl- mostly 101 Dalmatians and Robin Hood, as well as The Magician’s Hat and Secret of NIMH, her favourite cartoons she watched every day. In her free time she spends time with her dachshund Lusi and roommate Luka, and involves in endless discussions over posters and the like with Vedran.
Vedran Senjanović was born 1988 in Zagreb. He graduated in journalism from the Zagreb Faculty of Political Sciences. Currently active as a cinematographer and editor, he is also working on his debut film. With Anja he shares a love of dogs, Star Wars and talking ravens. As a kid he was a real expert with the remote, first of his TV and VCR, then of a DVD player, and today he has insulating tape in one pocket and a cable in the other. He will edit whatever you want and has a firm opinion of which films he likes and which he dislikes. He spends his free time living in a basement (but not for long!) and follows his roommate Mario in his body building competitions.
