Miha Hočevar
Miha Hočevar (1963, Ljubljana, Slovenia) studied film and TV directing at AGRFT, Ljubljana from 1985 to 1989. He wrote and directed his first feature film Fuck It in 1998, released in cinemas nationally in 2000 with great success. His next film, On the Sunny Side, was co-written with Bosnian writer Ozren Kebo. In 2009, he directed his own screenplay Going Our Way, which became the biggest Slovenian box office hit, with over 208000 viewers. His latest movie was a sequel, Going Our Way 2, released in 2013.
Jaroslava Hynštová
Jaroslava Hynštová (1977) studied at the Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, majoring in film studies and English philology. She has been working as a programmer at the International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Zlín since 2005. Before she was a regional cultural correspondent for the biggest Czech newspaper, she translated films for Zlín Film Festival and worked as a guest manager for the small film festival Eurofilm in the spa town of Luhacovice. She is also a screenwriter and a director of the amateur theatre company in her home town of Luhacovice.
Daniel Kušan
Daniel Kušan (1975, Zagreb) graduated in film and TV directing from the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since 1998 he has been professionally active in film and television, occasionally in theatre as well. In 2000 he wrote and directed the TV film The Cleaning. His first feature, the children’s film Koko and Ghosts, had the highest viewer rates in Croatia in 2011, and at Pula Film Festival it garnered two Golden Arenas (for editing and music) and the Audience Award. Kušan was also awarded the Breza Prize for best debut. His second narrative, Love or Death, had the highest viewer rates in Croatia in 2014.

Lorna Ilić
Lorna Ilić is twelve and practices dancing, attends a drama section at the Zagreb Youth Theatre, and learns German. She has been dancing for seven years now and loves it to pieces. This year she started taking drama classes and finds it amusing, and has been learning German since kindergarten. She learned to play the oboe for three years in a school of music, and now she spends her free time reading, which she finds relaxing and amusing. She also loves to watch films. When she was younger, her teacher used to make films with the class and took them to the cinema. Two years in a row they attended Bib for Kids and made a short film for the festival, as well. At home she watches films every Friday or Saturday, and sometimes loves going to the cinema with her girlfriends.
Rok Jakopović Potz
Rok Jakopović Potz is ten and has two sisters. He lives with his Mom, and with his Dad watches films and writes reviews. He is a straight-A student and boy scout – Blue Penguin. He plays golf is the weather is nice, likes to read books and comics (Garfield, Gaston, Tom & Jerry and all others, in general). He used to be a great fan of Geocaching, but is now a bit bored of it. A master of Escape Rooms. In his free time, he likes to go to the cinema, play wii or watch YouTube. His favourite food is hot dogs, but when he goes to the cinema with his Dad, Dad doesn’t want to buy him tacos, but rather insists on popcorn which he loves too. His favourite film is Matrix, and he loves all sci-fi films, comedies and horrors.
Katarina Jukić
Katarina Jukić is fourteen and was born in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Out of her particular curiosity, in fifth grade she took up amateur film and radio classes. Working with this section was really enjoyable to her, since she hadn’t had a chance to meet such methods before. Thanks to hard work and will, she and her section achieved much success. As a lead editor she worked on many films which garnered a host of awards and honours throughout the years, and her current experience helped her broaden her critical mind about the films she saw. She believes her wish, knowledge and persistence can contribute to her participation at this Festival.
Viktor Mijatović
Viktor Mijatović is ten and was born in a circus family. His Dad is a clown and juggler, and his Mom is a clown and acrobat. Currently he lives with his parents, sister and a dog in Zagreb, and goes to primary school. As a boy he used to do gymnastics, capoeira and rhythmics, but now he switched to basketball. He is a third-grader at a school of music, learning to play the cello. Viktor loves films, comics and books, especially fantasy and sci-fi. Often he goes to the cinema; the last film he saw was The New Kid at Zagreb Film Festival, which he loved.
Laura Radičević
Laura Radičević is twelve and sixth-grader. In her free time she does tennis and acting. For six years she has been attending the drama section at Pešćenica Centre for Culture with mentor Amanda Prenkaj, and every year with a new play they perform at SKAZ. Apart from acting and drama, she loves music, dance, films and travelling. Comedies are her favourite genre. In 2015 she was a jury member for the Best European Children’s Film Award, presented by the European Film Academy. Along with Zagreb, other 25 cities took part with their juries of children.
Lovro Svetina
Lovro Svetina is fourteen and from Zagreb. He is a straight-A student and has many interests. He is fluent in English and German, thinks himself a people person and some would say he has leadership qualities. He loves to watch films, especially action movies and horrors. Since he was in fifth grade he has been active in the school’s film section and in seventh grade he actively began making films for the school. His greatest success is an honour he received at the national film festival in Sinj for the film he wrote, Copy Paste. Some of his hobbies are: listening to music, watching films and sport games, computing.
Karla Škrlec
Karla Škrlec is an eight-grader who loves travelling and listening to music. She likes to experiment with extra-curricular activities so she tried out volleyball, tennis and basketball, even though she is not particularly gifted in sports. She loves dancing because it is fun and gives her a chance to listen to music: currently she is practicing cheerleading. She loves pop rock and Latin American electro music. Plays guitar and tamburica. To her, music is the perfect way to relax. She is taking classes of Spanish, English and German. Karla loves it when she loves everything she does.
